We collect information you provide when creating an account, including name, email address, and phone number. We also collect cricket-related data such as match scores, player statistics, and team information. Profile details like batting style, bowling style, bio, district, and area are optional.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and improve the CricSports platform, including match scoring, tournament management, leaderboards, and social features. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

4. Cookies & Device Information

CricSports uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session tokens) on your device and browser to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and ensure the platform functions correctly. These technologies are essential for providing our services and do not track your activity across other websites or applications.

5. Camera & Microphone

We access your device camera and microphone for: (a) QR code scanning to join teams, (b) live streaming your cricket matches to YouTube Live with a real-time scoreboard overlay, and (c) profile photo capture. Camera and microphone access is only activated when you explicitly initiate these features. You are responsible for obtaining consent from anyone shown in your broadcasts.

6. YouTube API Services

CricSports uses YouTube API Services to create and manage live broadcasts on YouTube. By using CricSports' live streaming feature, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of YouTube API Services through CricSports is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

CricSports accesses and stores the following YouTube API data: OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, YouTube channel ID, and channel name. This data is stored securely and is used solely to create, manage, and monitor live broadcasts on your behalf.

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for infrastructure and video hosting. Live streaming is powered by YouTube (Google). We also use Pexels for stock images and CricAPI for international cricket scores — neither receives personal data. These service providers have access to only the information necessary to perform their functions.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only when: (a) required by law, (b) to protect the rights and safety of CricSports users, or (c) with your explicit consent. Your profile name and avatar may be visible to other users on leaderboards and team rosters.

9. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, update, or delete your account data at any time. We provide in-app controls to manage your account and data. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data by contacting us at support@cricsports.in. You can also delete your content directly through the settings available within the app.

10. Revoking YouTube Access

You can revoke CricSports' access to your YouTube account at any time by visiting Google Security Settings. Revoking access will prevent CricSports from creating or managing broadcasts on your YouTube channel. You may also revoke access from within the CricSports app by navigating to Admin Settings and selecting "Disconnect YouTube."

11. Children's Privacy

CricSports is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
